    The start of the process. The asphalt is swept clean and then heated to increase the affectiveness of the adhesive and to remove as much moisture as possible. The adhesive is then applied and spread in an even layer.

    The product comes in panels, approximately 2' X 3' of the "brick" and 3' by 8" of the white. The panels have adhesive on the back and are applied to the asphalt and heated to bond with the glue on the asphalt and become firmly seated. Care is taken to line up the patterns to create the most seamless appearance possible.

    As anyone who has put up wallpaper or tile can attest, it's always the end of the job that requires the greatest attention to detail. Staff trims the panels to fit the pattern and meet the existing sidewalk.
